I would meet progressive Christians and think: are you crazy??? Christianity is awful!!! But now I’ve realized that I could only assess Christianity from my own tiny slice of it
religion is so hard to work through, in my opinion. there are good parts, questionable parts, and WTF parts. what i’ve found here (on substack) is that so many other people are working through it and/or have already made it to the other side—whatever that looks like for them. and that in itself is super inspiring. 🤍
